- Remote Proximity Keyless Entry - These remotes allow you to lock and unlock your doors, as well as open your trunk, start your car and sound your alarm. Your Chrysler keyless entry remote can be programmed at home and with only your car and your remote.
- Remote Start System - This system uses the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter to start the engine conveniently from outside the vehicle while still maintaining security. The system has a range of approximately 300 ft (91 m). NOTE: The vehicle must be equipped with an automatic transmission to be equipped with Remote Start.
- Blind Spot and Cross Path Detection - blind spot monitoring system that employs two radar sensors mounted on the corners of the rear bumper. Rear cross path detection and blind-spot detection, both of which can be shut off, alert the driver to potential hazards with yellow lights in the mirrors and audible alerts.While you can twist and turn to see around the blind spots, notably the big rear pillar, these systems can be very convenient ways to stop a collision. We tested these out in a busy parking lot, and they are surprisingly sensitive, able to spot cars before the driver does. The blind-spot detection works all the time, activating a yellow light in the mirror when a car is there, but it only sounds when you put on your turn signal (or not at all, if you set it that way). Rear cross path detection is activated when you shift into reverse.Rear Cross Path (RCP) was a Chrysler exclusive when launched, developed in-house. Activated in Reverse, it warns drivers who are backing out of parking spaces of traffic moving toward their vehicle, and seems to work in our limited experience with bicyclists as well. Alerts include an icon on the side view mirror and a chime.
- Hill Start Assist - used when starting a vehicle from a stop on a hill by maintaining the same level of brake pressure the driver applied for a short period of time after the foot has been removed from the brake pedal. The system will release the brake pedal in proportion to the amount of throttle applied. If the throttle is not applied within a short period of time after the foot has been removed from the brake pedal, Hill Start Assist will release brake pressure.
- Inside Emergency Trunk Lid Release - The emergency trunk release is a safety precaution to let a person out of a trunk if they end up locked in it. In a Chrysler 300 it is located in the trunk on the top edge. It looks like a small handle and is made from a type of glow in the dark material.
- Power Trunk Lid Release - The power trunk release on most cars is a very basic system consisting of only a few parts. These are commonly an electrical switch that activates a release solenoid. The circuit is completed by closing the contacts on the switch and allowing battery voltage to energize the solenoid in turn pulling a retractor rod that physically releases the latch allowing the trunk to open.The trunk usually lifts to the fully open position thanks to a pre-loaded torsion bar or coil spring that's engineered to overcome the total weight of the trunk lid. These springs can be found near the hinge and the tension is often adjustable. This adjustment can stop the trunk lid from flying open violently while still having enough tension for the lid to pop up when the solenoid releases the latch. Trunk lid springs are also able to compensate for installed accessories such as rear spoilers.
- ParkSense® Front / Rear Park Assist System - This system supplements the inside and outside rearview mirrors, helping the driver determine if an obstacle is in the rear path of the vehicle when maneuvering in tight spaces at parking speeds. When the driver selects Reverse or Neutral, the system scans for objects behind the vehicle, using four ultrasonic sensors located in the rear fascia. Objects as close as 10 inches and as far away as 59 inches can be detected. A warning display above the rear window provides both visible and audible warnings indicating the proximity of most larger, stationary objects that might be outside the driver's line of sight.
- Rain Brake Support - the system uses the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) pump to occasionally push brake pads lightly against brake rotors in rainy conditions in order to keep rotors dry and assure maximum braking performance under wet conditions.
- Ready Alert Braking - the system anticipates situations when the driver may initiate an emergency brake stop and uses the ESC pump to set brake pads against rotors in order to decrease the time required for full brake application.
- Sentry Key® Theft Deterrent System - System protects the vehicle from theft by monitoring door-ajar switches and the ignition circuit for unauthorized entry
- Speed Control - Part of the standard anti-lock brake system (ABS), this helps to keep driving wheels from spinning during acceleration from a stop or during all speeds by applying individual brakes alone or in combination with engine torque limitation to prevent wheel slip
- Tire Pressure Monitoring Display - Informs driver when tire pressure is too low. Pressure-sensor modules within the valve stems of all four road wheels send continuous radio-frequency signals to a receiver and the system. Individual tire pressure can be displayed in the EVIC
